Thank you to everyone who continues to take the time to give feedback and suggestions to help improve CSR2. We wanted to give you an update on our current status and progress in a few areas.
Thanks for taking part in the Player Communication Survey 📝
After receiving over 2,000 complete surveys full of great feedback we will soon post a dedicated blog about some of the key insights we learnt from the survey.
Improved banning process & communication to our players ✅
Work continues on improving the way we display messages to banned players in the game. In an upcoming update, we plan to show when temporary bans will expire on the in-game pop-up, rather than requiring players to contact us to find out.
We’ve also started advising players specifically what they’ve been banned for upon receiving an appeal, to help improve transparency around our banning process.
Finally, we understand the impact cheaters can have on your game experience, and so will be improving our detection systems so that we’re able to remove more cheats from CSR2.
Ongoing Work To Improve Your Experience 🛠️
Since our last blog, we have continued to work hard on improving some important issues. Some of the issues have been fixed in update 2.4.0 however some larger areas do need some more time to get right. If you are playing CSR2 on an iPhone, please update your IOS version to 12.2 for the best player experience.
We have noticed a live bug in our 2.4.0 update which impacts the shadows featured on certain cars. The team is currently working on a fix for this, and we will keep you updated vis this Help Shift page.
We wanted to give you an overview of improvements along with the current status below
We are currently looking at a range of high importance issues including, but not limited to:
