Best CSR2 Cars in Every Tier (2026): Fastest by World-Record Time

BEST CARS IN EVERY TIER: DRIVE LIKE A PRO CSR RACING 2

CSR Racing 2 has five tiers, and every one of them has a car sitting at the top of the world-record leaderboard right now. Instead of going by feel or by what looks fast in a screenshot, this guide ranks the best CSR2 cars in every tier the way the game actually decides races: quarter-mile elapsed time. Below is the current top 8 per tier by world-record ET, pulled straight from our own in-game leaderboard tracking and refreshed for 2026.

How We Rank These Cars

Every car below is ranked by its world-record 1/4 mile elapsed time (ET), taken from the in-game leaderboard data we store and update as new records land. A lower ET means a faster car, so rank 1 in each tier is the current record holder for that tier. These records assume a fully upgraded, fully fused car at the tier's PP cap, and the list was last refreshed 2026-09-13. Star class is shown alongside PP and Evo tuning stage so you can see how much work went into the record, not just where it landed.

Tier 1: Best CSR2 Cars

Tier 1 is the starter bracket, and the world-record board is packed with hot hatches and small-displacement crew cars trading tenths of a second.

RankCarPPEvoWR ETStar Class
1Ford Focus ST Crew (2014)16794511.590Purple
2Volkswagen Golf GTI (2014)16372511.792Gold
3Ford Fiesta ST (2016)16362711.800Gold
4Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC Crew (1994)16765811.808Purple
5Volkswagen Golf GTI Crew (1982)16782011.831Purple
6Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec (2014)16460011.912Gold
7Abarth 500 (2014)16355011.984Gold
8Mini Cooper S (2014)16437512.018Gold

Since ET is what actually wins races, start from the top of this table and work down until you find a car you can afford to fuse. A gold-star car you can fully fuse today beats a purple-star car sitting half-built in your garage, and the gap between rank 1 and rank 8 here is well under half a second.

Tier 2: Best CSR2 Cars

Tier 2 rewards a mix of grip and low weight, and the current record board has two rally-bred cars ahead of the rest.

RankCarPPEvoWR ETStar Class
1Mini Cooper JCW GP (2020)30514888.409Gold
2Mazda Pandem MX-5 (2016)30414978.438Gold
3Porsche 718 Boxster S (2017)30516198.501Gold
4Alpine A110 (2018)30512748.518Gold
5Ferrari 250 GTO Classic (1962)30414048.570-
6Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Classic (1954)30412708.582-
7Volkswagen Rocket Bunny Golf GTI (2014)3057958.869Gold
8Lotus Exige 360 Cup Crew (2016)30811148.951Purple

The Mini Cooper JCW GP and Mazda Pandem MX-5 are separated by three thousandths of a second at the top, so either is a safe pick if you can source the parts. The two classics in the middle of the pack have no star class attached, which usually means they came from a limited event rather than the regular garage, so treat rank 3 or rank 4 as the more realistic target for most players.

Tier 3: Best CSR2 Cars

Tier 3's leaderboard is almost entirely reward-recycled cars from recent seasons, which is good news if you have been collecting Prestige Cup and Showdown rewards.

RankCarPPEvoWR ETStar Class
1Audi RS3 Sedan (2023)40211317.114Gold
2Toyota GR Yaris (2021)40211687.148Gold
3BMW M2 G87 M Performance (2023)40211047.231Purple
4Honda Civic Type R (2023)40211477.268Gold
5Audi RS3 Sportback (2023)40211597.315Gold
6BMW M2 Coupe G87 (2023)40210937.319Purple
7Ford Mustang GT (2024)40210927.388Gold
8BMW RB M3 E92 (2011)40211207.501Gold

All eight of these sit at the same 402 PP cap, so the difference between them comes down to Evo fusion stage rather than raw parts count. If you already own the Audi RS3 Sedan or the Toyota GR Yaris from a past season, finishing its fusion is cheaper than chasing a car you do not have yet, even if it ranks a spot or two lower.

Tier 4: Best CSR2 Cars

Tier 4 is where EV performance cars have started catching up to combustion muscle, and the top of the board reflects that shift.

RankCarPPEvoWR ETStar Class
1Ford Mustang Dark Horse (2024)50022119.352Purple
2Hyundai IONIQ 6 N (2025)50020069.493Gold
3Aston Martin DBX S (2026)50019889.494Gold
4Audi RS6 Avant GT (2024)50018809.497Purple
5Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (2023)50019829.541Gold
6Audi TT RS Coupe IE (2023)50017909.593Gold
7Lamborghini LB Countach LP (1988)50018739.634Gold
8Hyundai IONIQ 5 N NPX1 (2024)50019309.638Gold

Notice how tight rank 2 through rank 5 are here, all within a hundredth of a second of each other. If you already have one of the three Hyundai N cars on this list from a season pass, it is worth finishing that fusion before starting a new car from scratch, since the ET difference against the leader is small.

Tier 5: Best CSR2 Cars

Tier 5 is CSR2's top bracket, and every single car on the current world-record board carries a Purple star class, which tells you how far these builds have been pushed.

RankCarPPEvoWR ETStar Class
1Back to the Future Time Machine 3 (1885)60326996.505Purple
2Honda Indy Truck (2017)60325256.511Purple

4Dodge Speed Shop Charger (1968)60326646.548Purple
5McLaren Solus GT (2023)60325786.555Purple
6Back to the Future Time Machine 2 (2015)60326616.576Purple
7De Tomaso P900 (2022)60326226.579Purple
8Chevrolet Ringbrothers Pick Up (1948)60325456.579Purple

The Back to the Future Time Machine 3 currently holds the fastest world-record ET in the entire game, not just Tier 5, and it does so with the highest Evo fusion stage on this list. Ranks 7 and 8 are tied on ET, so if you are choosing between the De Tomaso P900 and the Chevrolet Ringbrothers Pick Up, base the decision on which parts you can source faster rather than the ranking alone.
