Which one should you choose? The answer depends on what is already built in your garage.

If your Jakob Mustang already has Stage 6 parts and a strong collection of Ford fusion parts, using the Mustang may require less investment. If the Mustang is unbuilt while your newly won Nova receives event crates or accessible Chevrolet parts, the Nova may become the more efficient route.

Do not pick purely by rarity or appearance. For lock-in events, the cheapest competitive build is usually more valuable than the theoretically faster car.

2. Use the Nova or another eligible car in Chapter II: Dominant
3. Complete Chapter II and win Dom Toretto's Dodge Ice Charger

The Best Upgrade Strategy for the Crew's Code Events

Do not max every eligible car before you need it. That is the fastest way to burn through millions of CSR2 cash and hundreds of fusion parts.

Use this order instead:

1. Claim Han's Toyota GR Supra first and progress Challenger's Run II.
2. Secure Letty's Chevrolet Nova SS before heavily investing in Chapter II alternatives.
3. For each Chapter II slot, compare your existing Stage 6 inventory, fusion parts and current upgrade level before choosing a car.
4. Upgrade gradually until you hit difficulty rather than automatically taking every car to Stage 5 or Stage 6.
5. Keep enough resources available for the later lock-ins because Slots 3-5 are generally where multi-car events become expensive.
6. Once you obtain the Dodge Ice Charger, shift resources toward Victory Lap II rather than unnecessarily improving cars that have already completed their section.

Do Not Waste Universal or Rare Fusion Parts Early

For veteran CSR2 players, the event itself is rarely the hardest part. Resource management is.

The dangerous pattern is: upgrade Slot 1 too much, run low on cash, overbuild Slot 2, burn rare fusions, reach Slot 4 or 5 without enough resources.

Instead, treat every race wall as a checkpoint. Upgrade only enough to pass it. A car sitting 0.4 seconds faster than necessary does not give you those resources back.

Stage 6 Parts: Install for Impact, Not Completion

Having all seven Stage 6 parts is obviously ideal, but many event cars can progress significantly without being maxed. The value of each Stage 6 part varies by car. Engine, turbo, intake, nitrous, body, tires and transmission do not necessarily contribute equally.

Before adding large amounts of Epic fusion parts, test the car after installing each available Stage 6 component. Sometimes a strong transmission or body upgrade combined with a good tune moves the car considerably further than several lower-impact upgrades.

Tune Before You Spend More

Before buying or installing another upgrade, check nitrous, final drive and tire pressure. Then dyno the car and test alternative shift patterns.

CSR2 event cars frequently perform faster than their dyno time when driven with the correct launch, early shift or nitrous timing. If you are only a few hundredths away from winning a race, another expensive upgrade may not be necessary. A better shift pattern might solve the problem for free.

Which Event Should You Prioritize?

For players participating in the complete Fast & Furious block, the order should be: Challenger's Run II first, Chapter II: Dominant second, Victory Lap II third.

That does not mean you must completely finish one before touching the next. Because they overlap, you can progress them in parallel. But the dependency chain matters: the earlier event can provide a car required by the later event. This is why the September Crew's Code schedule is more connected than it initially appears.

What If You Already Own the Required Cars?

Then your biggest advantage is not ownership. It is existing upgrades.

A previously built Fast & Furious car can save millions of cash, dozens of fusion parts, multiple Stage 6 upgrades, and potentially significant event crate spending.

Before building a new prize car, inspect every eligible alternative in your garage. An older car sitting at Stage 5 with 80+ fusions can be significantly cheaper than starting a newer event prize from zero.
